One serving = 4 oz steak with 4 tsp sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Brandy and Mustard-Glazed Tenderloin Steaks

1 lb beef tenderloin
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
2 tsp butter
1/4 cup shallots, minced
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 shot brandy

Recipe Directions for Brandy and Mustard-Glazed Tenderloin Steaks

  1. Heat nonstick skillet over medium heat

  2. Salt and pepper steaks

  3. Pan fry for 3 minutes on each side or until browned

  4. Remove from pan; keep warm

  5. Melt butter in pan

  6. Add shallots to pan and cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally

  7. Add broth and mustard to pan; cook for 1 minute or until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally

  8. Stir in brandy

  9. Return steaks to pan and cook 1 minute on each side or until desired degree of doneness

  10. Serve sauce with steaks
