Recipe Ingredients for Bran Muffins (using a lower-temp oven)

1 3/4 cup water
1/2 cup Hodgson's oat bran hot cereal
1 tbsp Hodgson's oat bran hot cereal
1/2 cup egg beaters
5 1/2 tbsp country crock spreadable stick margarine
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 1/4 cup King Arthur wheat flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/8 cup non fat dry milk
1/3 cup sunmaid golden raisins

Recipe Directions for Bran Muffins (using a lower-temp oven)

  1. soak oat bran in water for 20 min

  2. add melted margarine and sugar

  3. sift and add dry ingredients

  4. do not overmix

  5. add raisins

  6. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 20 minutes, in greased muffin tin
