Recipe Ingredients for Bran Muffins

1 3/4 cup water
1/2 cup oat bran
1 tbsp oat bran
2 eggs
1/3 cup margarine
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 1/4 cup wheat flour
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tbsp dry milk
2/3 cup golden raisins

Recipe Directions for Bran Muffins

  1. heat oven to 425

  2. add oat bran to water and soak fro 20 min

  3. add eggs, shortening and sugar, mix well

  4. mix and sift dry ingredients and add to oat bran mixture

  5. DO NOT OVERMIX

  6. stir in raisins

  7. bake 20-25 min

  8. yeilds 12 muffins
