Bran Muffins with chocolate chips

Recipe Ingredients for Bran Muffins

1/3 cup oil
1 egg
1 cup organic milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup organic sugar
3/4 cup bran
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Bran Muffins

  1. Combine oil and egg

  2. Combine milk and lemon juice and stir into egg mixture

  3. Combine rest of ingredients. Make a well in center of flour mixture.

  4. Pour in milk mixture all at once; stir till just moistened.

  5. Add chocolate chips.

  6. Spoon batter in to muffin cups, 2/3 full

  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool
