GOOD bran muffins! adapted from a bran recipe on this site

Recipe Ingredients for Bran Muffins

1 cup bran
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 cup skim milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 1/2 cup carrots, shredded
1/2 cup raisins
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 teaspoons cinnamon
3 teaspoons ginger

Recipe Directions for Bran Muffins

  1. preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. Combine all dry ingredients (including raisins/carrots)

  3. In another bowl combine all other ingredients

  4. Mix everything together

  5. Bake 15 minutes (or until done)
