Recipe Ingredients for Bran Muffins

3 cups wheat bran
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 1/2 cups white flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
30 servings

Recipe Directions for Bran Muffins

  1. 1 cup boiling water to 1 cup wheat bran

  2. blend sugar and butter

  3. combine flour, baking soda, salt

  4. add eggs to moist wheat bran

  5. add balance of bran to egg & bran mix

  6. add buttermilk, sugar & butter mix

  7. add dry flour to mix

  8. stir and blend all

  9. oven bake 400 degrees 15 minutes
