Oven Ready Bran Muffins- You can bake them 6 at a time for fresh muffins!

Recipe Ingredients for Bran Muffins

3 cup dry Wheat Bran, Unprocessed (Millers Bran)
1 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
1 stick Butter
2.5 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Unbleached
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt, Table
2 large Egg, Whole
2 cup Milk, Buttermilk, Fluid, Cultured, Lowfat

Recipe Directions for Bran Muffins

Mix 1C wheat bran with 1 C boiling water, stir, and let the bran absorb the water. Blend sugar, and butter. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Combine the moist bran with the eggs, beaten, the rest of the bran, the buttermilk, blended sugar-butter mixture, and the dry ingredients. Stir until well-blended. Refrigerate for future use (Will keep 2-4 weeks in an airtight container), or spoon into prepared muffin tins, and bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
