Recipe Ingredients for Bran Muffins by the Pailful

2 cups KELLOGG'S, ALL-BRAN Original
1 cup KELLOGG'S ALL-BRAN BRAN BUDS
1 cup water
2 cups Buttermilk
3/4 cups splenda
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup egg beaters
2 1/2 cups Wheat Flour, White, Bread, Enriched
2 1/2 tsp. baking Soda

Recipe Directions for Bran Muffins by the Pailful

  1. Combine the brans together and stir in boiling water and buttermilk.

  2. Cool to lukewarm

  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together sugar and applesauce.

  4. Add egg beaters beating well.

  5. Stir into bran mixture

  6. combine flour and baking soda.

  7. Add to bran mixture and stir just enough to dampen dry ingredients

  8. Store batter in refrigerator until ready for use.

  9. Pre-heat oven to 375.

  10. Fill muffing cups 2/3 full.

  11. Bake 20-25 minutes

  12. Batter will keep up to 4 weeks.
