Hearty snack. Any fruit can be used in place of the pears.

Recipe Ingredients for Bran Muffins with Fruit

1 cup all bran cereal
1 cup wheat bran
1 1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbs baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup canola oil
2 Pears

Recipe Directions for Bran Muffins with Fruit

  1. mix first 3 ingredients set aside.

  2. Mix remaining dry ingredients, set aside.

  3. combine Vanilla, Egg, Oil and milk and stir into first mixture.

  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir just till combine. Add fruit.

  5. Bake 375 for 25min.
