Chicken and new potatoes simmered in soya sauce

Recipe Ingredients for braised Chicken and potatoes in soya sauce

500 g chicken
2 tablespoon sunflower oil
1 teaspoon salt
500 g new potatoes
4 tablespoon light soya sauce
2 tablespoon soya sauce
10 g ginger
1 onion
1 tablespoon caster sugar
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for braised Chicken and potatoes in soya sauce

  1. Cut up chicken

  2. Cut up Onion and ginger

  3. Fry onion and ginger in oil until soft

  4. Put chicken in and brown

  5. Add the sugar until everything is caramelized

  6. Add the potatoes and fry until slightly coloured

  7. Add the soya sauces and water

  8. Simmer for 1 hour

  9. Serve with plain boiled rice
