Recipe Ingredients for Braised Celery

1 lb celery
3 cloves garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
14 1/2 ounce tomatoes
1/4 tsp dried marjoram
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Braised Celery

  1. Cut celery stalks into 1-in. pieces.

  2. In skillet, cook 3 cloves garlic, sliced, in 1 Tbsp. olive oil on medium 1 minute or until golden. Stir in celery, marjoram, salt and pepper. Add tomatoes and 2 Tbsp. water.

  3. Simmer on medium-low 25 to 30 minutes or until celery is tender.

  4. Serves 4.
