Recipe Ingredients for braised cabbage and bacon

15 grams bacon
1 3/4 pound green cabbage, chopped
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup water

Recipe Directions for braised cabbage and bacon

cook bacon in Dutch overn over med high heat until crisp. remove and crumble reserving the drippings in pan. Add chopped cabbage to bacon drippings and saute for 2 minutes. Add salt pepper and water and cover and cook 7 minutes or until crisp tender. Uncover, cook 5 minutes stir occasionally sprinkle with bacon and serve
