Recipe Ingredients for Braised Brussels Sprouts w/ Bacon and Cider

1 pound brussels sprouts
3 oz bacon
3/4 cup of apple cider
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Recipe Directions for Braised Brussels Sprouts w/ Bacon and Cider

  1. Braise Brussels Sprouts according to recipe and set aside.

  2. Sautee bacon bits until slightly crispy and set aside.

  3. Add garlic and thyme to bacon grease and cook for a minute.

  4. Add apple cider and pepper and cook until liquid is reduced by half.

  5. Add sprouts and cook until sprouts are warm.

  6. Serve garnished with bacon.
