Excellent!!! This is one of our favorite dishes and is bursting with intense flavor. Rich, slightly sweet Balsamic vinegar intensifies the flavors of tomatoes and herbs in this delightful chicken saute.

Recipe Ingredients for Braised Balsamic Chicken

24 oz. Chicken (6 chicken breasts)
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper (or to taste)
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Recipe Directions for Braised Balsamic Chicken

  1. Season chicken breast with ground pepper and garlic salt. Heat olive oil in a medium skillet, and brown the onion and seasoned chicken breasts.

  2. Pour tomatoes and vinegar over chicken and season with herbs. Simmer until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear, about 15 minutes.
