Recipe Ingredients for Brad's Rice Pudding

9 cups cooked rice
8 1/4 cups 2% milk
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1/2 cup corn starch
2 tbsp imitation vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Brad's Rice Pudding

  1. start with 1/2 cup milk, stir in corn starch.

  2. beat eggs thoroughly and add to milk and starch in medium size bowl.

  3. Warm remaining milk and rice in Large pot over medium heat. Once hot but not boiling, gradually stir in large spoonfulls of hot mild to bowl with eggs and starch mix until that bowl is almost as warm as the pot. Stir in newly warmed egg/starch mixture into the large pot.

  4. Add sugar and vanilla and cook until thick.
