Chicken breast, tomatoes and bowtie pasta, use tomatoes with basil, oregano and garlic for better flavor. I add no salt.

Recipe Ingredients for Bowtie Pasta with Chicken

8 ounces chicken breast
1 red bell pepper, small
1/2 onion, diced
2 clove garlic
1/4 cup parsley
1 cup chicken broth, low sodium
14 ounce tomatoes, diced, no salt added
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 box bowtie pasta, whole grain
3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Bowtie Pasta with Chicken

  1. Boil water for pasta and add pasta when boiling, cook per package.

  2. Heat pan and add

  3. Chop pepper, onion, garlic and parsley.

  4. Saute vegetables while chopping chicken.

  5. Toss chicken in with pepper, onion and add garlic and parsley.

  6. When chicken is done add tomatoes, chicken broth and lemon juice.

  7. Boil at simmer until liquid is half what it was.

  8. Mix with pasta and top with parmesan cheese.
