Recipe Ingredients for Bow Tie Farfalle, Vegetables, & Cheese

245 bow-tie farfalle
12 oz. chicken breast
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 jalapeno pepper
8 oz. beans, kidney red, canned
1 red sweet pepper
1 yellow sweet pepper
2 scallions
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream
4 oz. green chiles
6 oz. salsa
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp basil
1/4 cup Reduced Fat Mexican cheese, shredded
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Bow Tie Farfalle, Vegetables, & Cheese

  1. Chop chicken breast inhop peppers, sto one-inch chunks. Chop scallions, peppers, mushrooms. Place chicken in a small amount of olive oil and saute, until here is no longer any pink. Add peppers, scallions, mushrooms. Saute over medium heat Add green chiles, kidney beans, salsa, and 1 cup of water or low-fat chicken broth. Meanwhile, cook tri-color farfalle according to package directions.

  2. Add vegetable mixture to drained farfalle. Put into a large casserole ( 3 quart 0. Sprinkle cheese over the mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
