Recipe Ingredients for Bourbon Glazed Chicken

16 ounce boneless chicken breasts, 2 breasts cut in half
1 freshly ground black pepper
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 teaspoons dark brown sugar
2 ounces Southern Comfort Whiskey
1 tablespoon Orange Juice concentrate,
4 ounces low sodium Chicken Stock
1/8 Orange, thinly sliced

Recipe Directions for Bourbon Glazed Chicken

  1. Pound chicken halves until almost doubled in size, season with pepper.

  2. Heat butter in saute pan until hot. Add chicken breast halves and saute until golden brown.

  3. Add Dark Brown Sugar, Southern

  4. Comfort Whiskey, and orange juice, saute until all alcohol is removed from the sauce and a thin glaze forms.

  5. Add Chicken Stock and reduce 1/2 by

  6. volume. Arrange orange slices on top of chicken making sure the slices pick up some of the sauce. Transfer pieces to a hot platter

  7. and pour the sauce over the top.

  8. Serve immediately.

  9. Tastes great over rice
