2 red beets peeled and diced carrot, peeled and diced green cabbage shredded tomatoes diced yukon potato chopped into bite size cubes celery diced fresh dill optional

Recipe Ingredients for Borscht

2 beets
1 carrot
1 cup cabbage
1 cup tomatoes
1 potato
1 celery stalk
4 cups chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Borscht

Combine all ingredients in large pot, bring to simmer. Cover and cook until red beets and potatoes are tender, usually 20-30 min. Add dill, sea salt and black pepper to taste.
