This is an experiment. There may be too much liquid. Actually using dried mushrooms this time rather than fresh. I'd use more potatoes in the pot if I had them...

Recipe Ingredients for Boneless short ribs of beef

2 lb beef, boneless ribs
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 cup scallions, sliced
1 cup carrot, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 potato, red large diced
8 oz mushrooms
14 oz stewed tomatoes
10 oz tomatoes, Rotel original
1 cup red wine, (cooking wine)
1 cup beef broth

Recipe Directions for Boneless short ribs of beef

  1. Combine chili powder, cumin, salt & pepper (mor e or less to taste) and rub mixture over ribs.

  2. Place ribs in bottom of slow cooker.

  3. Add all other ingredients,

  4. stir everything but the beef.

  5. Cook overnight 8-9 hours.
