rich pasta sauce w/ lean (not leanest) gr. beef and 2 tbsp whole milk

Recipe Ingredients for Bolognese

1 lb lean ground beef
2 tablespoons whole milk
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 slice white bread
1 onion
2 carrots
6 cloves garlic
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
1 tablespoon fresh oregano
28 oz. crushed tomatoes
4 oz tomato sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Bolognese

  1. combine bread, milk, and meat in processor

  2. season with salt & pepper

  3. saute onions and carrots (diced) in the olive oil

  4. add garlic and red pepper flakes

  5. add tomato sauce (or 2 oz tom paste)

  6. add meat mixture, cook until no longer pink

  7. add 28 oz. canned crushed tom (and 14oz diced)

  8. simmer for about 30 min.
