Recipe Ingredients for Bolognaise sauce with cherry tomatoes

5 ounces (141.75g) soya mince
1/2 pint boiling water
0.18 oz (5g) Bouillon - swiss vegetable, powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
4 oz carrots, sliced
4 oz mushrooms, chopped
2 oz celery, chopped
200 grams canned tomatoes, chopped with juice
200 grams cherry tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon tomato puree
1 red pepper, chopped
1 pint boiling water
0.18 oz (5g) bouillon - swiss vegetable, powder
1/2 tablespoon dried mixed herbs
1 teaspoon bay leaf
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 salt and pepper, season to taste

Recipe Directions for Bolognaise sauce with cherry tomatoes

Heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the onions and fry until soft, then add the garlic and mushrooms and fry for couple of minutes, then add the pepper, celery and carrots and saute with a lid on under a low heat for 5 - 10 minutes, then take the lid off and stir in the balsamic vinegar, then add the rehydrated soya mince, stock, seasoning, tomatoes, canned tomatoes, herbs and bay leaf stir well and bring up to temperature and then simmer for 20 - 30 minutes or until veggies are quite soft and serve immediately onto your favourite pasta or a jacket potato.
