Bottled bolognese sauce with juicy homemade meatballs ;)

Recipe Ingredients for Bol & Meatballs

1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
900 g Dolmio bolognese sauce
55 g frozen spinach, not drained
90 g mushrooms, chopped
100 TINE Original Kesam
1 Meatballs:
300 g ground chicken
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp oregano (dried)
1/4 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp cornstarch

Recipe Directions for Bol & Meatballs

  1. Sauté garlic & mushrooms for sauce till beginning to brown.

  2. Add in spinach, stir well to defrost slightly. Pour in sauce, stir to mix well and simmer, covered, for 15-20 mins.

  3. Mix all ingredients for the meatballs together with your hands in a mixing bowl.

  4. Shape into approx 30 meatballs. Either cook 10 at a time in a non-stick pan without oil OR place in an oven dish lined with baking paper and bake on 180C till cooked through.

  5. Drop meatballs into sauce. Cook in sauce for approx 10 min. Remove from heat and stir in the quark/fresh cheese.

  6. I like to pour my sauce into the pasta bowl first, sprinkle with parmesan, then place the spaghetti on top with some fresh parsley to garnish.

  7. Enjoy!!
