The upscale pot roast....I like serving this with egg noodles or barley risotto. Although they grade it lower because of the wine, the alcohol cooks off quickly so I am not sure what the negative would be...?

Recipe Ingredients for Boeuf Bourguignon

8 oz beef, inside round roast
1 tsp olive oil
1 celery stalk, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 medium onion, sliced
8 oz mushrooms, chopped
8 oz red wine, dry
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp rosemary
8 oz water

Recipe Directions for Boeuf Bourguignon

Heat oil in pot and brown beef on all sides. Add onion, celery and garlic and saute for a few minutes. Add wine and half of the water; let simmer for one hour, stirring occasionally. Add mushrooms, seasonings and remaining water (if too dry) and let cook another hour at least.
