Recipe Ingredients for Body Builder Protein Bars-Peanut Butter

4 cups quick oats
1/3 cup flax seed
5 scoops whey protein
2/3 cup powdered milk
2/3 cup peanut butter
2/3 cup chocolate or butterscotch chips
1/2 cup peanuts (honey-roasted)
3/4 cup corn syrup

Recipe Directions for Body Builder Protein Bars-Peanut Butter

Blend oats in food processor until powder fine. While machine spins, add whey protein, powdered milk and sunflower seeds through the opening on top. Remove top to add peanut butter. Blend thoroughly. Add butterscotch chips thru the top and pulse a few times, or more for a finer consistency. Pour corn syrup through the top in a stream until motion stops in the processor. If too crumbly, add a bit more corn syrup. If too much corn syrup is added, bars will be sticky. Cut into bars with large knife and wrap with waxed paper and tape closed. Store in freezer and grab when you head out the door to the gym.
