Recipe Ingredients for Bob's Hamburger Vegetable Soup

2 lbs. lean ground beef
42 oz. beef broth
29 oz. diced tomatoes
6 oz. tomato paste
8 oz. celery hearts, cut into chunks
2 tsp. parsley flakes
2 tsp. Season-All Seasoned Salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
3 1/2 lbs. potatoes, cut up
14 1/2 oz. sliced carrots, drained
15 1/4 oz. yellow sweet corn, drained
15 oz. no salt no sugar young peas, drained
14 1/2 oz. green beans, drained

Recipe Directions for Bob's Hamburger Vegetable Soup

  1. Brown ground beef with just a little water to keep it from burning (Because it's lean, it shouldn't have much fat/grease.) in a large stock pot.

  2. Add beef broth, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, celery hearts, Season-All, garlic powder, onion powder to pot and bring to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat, and simmer until celery is tender.

  4. Add cut up potatoes. Add enough water to cover all solids. Boil until potatoes are almost cooked.

  5. Add drained carrots, corn, peas, and green beans. Again, add water if needed to cover solids. Return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are completely cooked.

  6. Serve hot.

  7. Makes about 22 one-cup servings.
