This recipe uses biscuits in a tube! The serving is 2 biscuits and their holes. Not particularly "wholesome" but it's better for you than a deep fried snack cake. They are really good, I only have them occasionally as a special treat.

Recipe Ingredients for Bob's biscuit donuts

2 oz biscuits
1/2 tbs vegetable oil
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Bob's biscuit donuts

  1. punch holes out of the biscuits with small cookie cutter (about 1 inch holes)

  2. fry them and the holes in the oil turning them with tongs every few seconds so they do not brown more on one side than the other

  3. place on plate covered with paper towels to drain

  4. when still warm but not hot enough to melt the sugar sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mix on both sides of donuts and holes

  5. yum
