1 c Sugars, Granulated
1 t Nutmeg, Ground
1 c Cornstarch
2 c Blueberries
1 t Lemon Juice
1 pinch Salt, Table
1 c Water

Recipe Directions for blueberry waffle topping

  1. Mix sugar, nutmeg cornstarch and salt in large saucepan.

  2. Stir in 1/2 cup of cold water gradually to make a smooth mixture.

  3. Add blueberries.

  4. Cook over low to moderate heat until sauce is thickened and clear, stiring constantly.

  5. Stir in lemo juice. Cool.
