Recipe Ingredients for Blueberry turnover

5 oz phyllo dough
2 cups blueberries
2 tbsp apple sauce
3/4 tbsp margarine

Recipe Directions for Blueberry turnover

  1. Place 1 cup of blueberries in a pan over medium heat and smash with fork until juices come out.

  2. Let reduce to about 1/2 volume (8minutes)

  3. Remove from heat, let cool, and add apple sauce and remaining fresh blueberries.

  4. Prepare 1 sheet of phyllo dough- coat with melted margarine and fold into 1/3 along the wide end.

  5. Place 1.5 tbsp of filling at bottom of dough and fold into triangles.

  6. Repeat for rest of ingredients.

  7. Layer on baking sheet and bake at 350F.
