Recipe Ingredients for Blueberry Scones

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups whole-wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup butter, grated
1 tbsp sugar
3/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup frozen blueberries

Recipe Directions for Blueberry Scones

  1. Preheat oven to 425F

  2. add dry ingredients, mix well

  3. add grated butter, mix until pea sized

  4. add blueberries, coat in dry.

  5. add in milk, stir until uniformly lumpy, turn out onto counter and form into a disc.

  6. Cut into triangles - I was able to get 18 - 20 out of my batch. Optional: glaze with milk and dust with sugar.

  7. Put on ungreased baking pan - bake 9 - 12 min until golden brown.
