Sweet and slightly tart sauce that goes well with grilled salmon and/or asparagus. Double or triple recipe if cooking for more than two people.

Recipe Ingredients for Blueberry sauce

1/4 cup chicken stock
2 tbs balsamic vinegar
2 tbs orange juice
1/2 tsp honey
1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
2 tbs chicken stock
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1 tsp chopped fresh chives

Recipe Directions for Blueberry sauce

  1. Pour 0.25 cup chicken stock, vinegar, orange juice, and honey into a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium. Dissolve cornstarch in 2 tbs. of chicken stock and stir into the simmering sauce. Cook and stir until the sauce thickens and turns clear, 1 to 2 minutes.

  2. Stir in the blueberries and chives and keep warm over low geat until ready to serve.
