Use vinegar and milk to substitute buttermilk

Recipe Ingredients for Blueberry pancakes

1/2 cup unbleached flour
1 tbs baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tbs sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tbs white vinegar
1 tbs vegetable oil
1/2 tbs butter
1/4 blueberries

Recipe Directions for Blueberry pancakes

  1. sift dry ingredients

  2. beat wet ingredients together

  3. fold dry and wet together with blueberries

  4. let stand for 5 minutes

  5. heat cast iron pan

  6. melt a bit of butter for each pancake
