Recipe Ingredients for blueberry pancake syrup

1 pint of fresh blueberries
1/2 cup of water
2 tbsp. sugar

Recipe Directions for blueberry pancake syrup

  1. rinse the blueberries and put them in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the water and boil until the berries soften, about 10 minutes.

  2. Carefully pour the blueberries into a food mill over a bowl. Mill the blueberries until all the berry goodness is strained into the bowl.

  3. Put the berry mixture back in the saucepan over medium heat and add the sugar.

  4. Stir and boil on medium heat, until thickened.

  5. This can be stored in the fridge after cooling for 2 weeks- if it lasts that long:)
