Blueberry Oatmeal Recipe

serve with extra flax seeds on top for crunch

Recipe Ingredients for blueberry oatmeal

1 cup steel cut oats
4 cup water
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 t splenda
3 T ground flax seed
1 T coconut oil
1 cup blueberries

Recipe Directions for blueberry oatmeal

  1. add oats and water to saucepan

  2. add cinnamon (and sprinkle of nutmeg if you like)

  3. add flax seed

  4. (add a handful of nuts if you like)

  5. bring to a boil, then simmer 30-40 minutes

  6. add coconut oil and blueberries

  7. *can be done in a small crock pot, but takes hours

  8. *also substitute any fresh fruit you have on hand
