From Home Made Bread Cookbook with my changes

Recipe Ingredients for Blueberry Muffins

4 cups flour
5 teaspoons baking powder
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup skim milk
2 cups blueberries

Recipe Directions for Blueberry Muffins

Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into mixing bowl. Cut in shortening until crumbs are the size of small peas. Make a hollow in center. Combine egg and milk, add all at once to hollow in dry ingredients. Stir only until dry ingredients are just moist (batter will be lumpy). Stir in blueberries. Fill greased muffin-pan cups two thirds full. Sprinkle a little sugar on top of muffins. Bake in 400 degree oven for 25 minutes or until done.
