Recipe Ingredients for blueberry-maple muffins

1/3 cup Essential Whole Flaxseed, Organic
1 cup whole-wheat flour
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 large eggs
1/2 cup Mrs Butterworths Sugar Free Syrup
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup canola oil
2 teaspoons freshly grated orange zest
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Recipe Directions for blueberry-maple muffins

  1. Grind flaxseeds. Combine flours, flax, soda, baking pwdr, salt and cinnamon in large bowl. Combine wet ingredients. Combine the two till just moistened. Fold in bueberries.

  2. Bake at 400 for 15 to 25 minutes.
