Recipe Ingredients for Blueberry Freezer Jam

4 cup Blueberries
12 oz Natural Cane Turbinado Sugar
1.75 oz Fruit Pectin
0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 tsp Orange Peel

Recipe Directions for Blueberry Freezer Jam

  1. Wash blueberries. Crush them in food processor. Pour them into a large bowl. Add grated orange peel and sugar. Stir well. Let sit for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved.

  2. In a medium sauce pan mix water and pectin. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Pour mixture over blueberry mixture. Stir constantly for 3 minutes. Divide mixture into 5 half-pint jars and put lids in place. Let stand for 24 hours or until well set before storing. Keeps for 6 months in the freezer or 3 weeks in the fridge.
