Fruit crisp using less sugar and oil than most.

Recipe Ingredients for blueberry crisp

4 cups frozen blueberries
2 cups frozen peaches
2 cups frozen strawberries
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar, unpacked
1/4 cup canola oil

Recipe Directions for blueberry crisp

  1. Partially thaw the fruit

  2. Measure the fruit and place in a baking dish

  3. Mix the oatmeal, brown sugar and oil

  4. Top the fruit with the oatmeal mixture

  5. optional: add a little salt, or 1 tsp cinnamon or 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  6. Bake at 325 degrees for an hour
