Recipe Ingredients for Blueberry Crisp with Oatmeal Almond Topping

3 oz Golden Brown Sugar
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 cup Quick Cooking Oats
0.13 cup Flour, All Purpose
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
2 tbsp Salted Butter
0.25 cup Almonds Sliced
8 cup Blueberries

Recipe Directions for Blueberry Crisp with Oatmeal Almond Topping

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. Rinse blueberries. Drain, allowing some water to cling to berries.

  3. Place berries in 9-inch-diameter glass pie dish.

  4. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons brown sugar and cinnamon; stir to blend.

  5. Let stand until sugar dissolves and coats berries.

  6. Stir oats, flour, salt, and remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar to blend in medium bowl.

  7. Add butter and rub in with fingertips or fork until moist clumps form.

  8. Stir in almonds.

  9. Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over blueberries.

  10. Bake crisp until berries are bubbling and topping is golden, about 35 minutes.

  11. Serve warm, each serving topped with a spoonful of frozen yogurt.
