this makes 14 pancakes - i use a 1/4 cup measurer to portion out the batter.

Recipe Ingredients for blueberry bran pancakes

1.25 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
9 tsp Sugars, Granulated
0.76 cup, unthawed Blueberries
1 serving Milk Rice Milk
0.75 cup Wheat Bran, Crude
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 serving Baking Powder

Recipe Directions for blueberry bran pancakes

  1. simple pancakes with a twist. start by dethawing the blueberries - i just run warm water over them...but the trick is: SAVE the water.

  2. now, take the dry bran and pour 1 c of the blueberry water into it. set aside for 10 minutes (use reg. water if you don't have enough blueberry water)

  3. besides that, its just simple pancake prep. sift the dry ingredients together. mix the wet ingredients together (including the bran). combine the two but do not overmix!

  4. happy flipping!
