Recipe Ingredients for blue pemmican

1 cup dried blueberries
16 oz Beef, Cured, Dried Beef
1 cup Fat, Beef Tallow

Recipe Directions for blue pemmican

  1. highly recommend using grass fed beef and tallow only.

  2. drying meat: cut ALL visible fat away from 1-2lbs beef, cut into 1/4" strips and dry in the oven 185F for 5 hours, until it snaps when broken. pulverize into a powder with a blender.

  3. cut tallow into small pieces and render slowly over low heat.

  4. combine meat and fat, pour in berries and incorporate.
