Recipe also calls for 2 tablespoons of dried currants but I don't use them in my recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Blue Apple-Nut Oatmeal

1 2/3 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1/4 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1/4 cup dry Rolled Oats
1 cup Frozen Blueberries
1 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
1 medium apple Apples
1 oz Chopped Walnuts

Recipe Directions for Blue Apple-Nut Oatmeal

In a saucepan, combine the 1 2/3 cups of water, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 cup oats. Simmer until the oatmeal is creamy. Add the blueberries and banana. Cook for 5 minutes, or until hot, stirring constantly. Mix in the peeled, cored, and chopped apple AND the chopped walnuts.
