Easy to make salad. Goes great with BBQ chicken, hamburgers, and beef

Recipe Ingredients for BLT & Cheese Salad

10 slices of turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon snipped chives
1 Salt and pepper to taste
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1/2 pound cherry tomatoes, halved
1 head Romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces

Recipe Directions for BLT & Cheese Salad

  1. In skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Drain the bacon on paper towels, then crumble.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together tthe garlic, lemon juice, mayonnaise, chives, water, salt and pepper.

  3. In a larger bowl toss together onion, tomatoes, cheese,lettuce,half of the bacon, and enought of the prepared dressing to coat. Serve teh salad on a platter adn top withthe remaining bacon.
