A healthy bar version of our favorite childhood cookie.

Recipe Ingredients for Blondies

1/2 cup margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup oat flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tbsp. wheat germ
1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips

Recipe Directions for Blondies

  1. Melt margarine and let it cool. Add sugars to the melted margarine until smooth. Add egg whites and vanilla to the sugar mixture. Sift the baking soda, baking powder, flours and wheat germ into the liquid mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  2. Pour into 15x8x2 pan and bake for 20-30 min. at 350 degrees F.
