plain crepe and topping. just add innards

Recipe Ingredients for blintzes

2 eggs
150 ml milk
75 ml water
7 tablespoons flour
100 g margarine
10 g icing sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Recipe Directions for blintzes

  1. beat eggs then beat in milk and water

  2. add flour a tablespoon at a time blending well

  3. stop when it reaches consistency of double cream

  4. pour into jug through sieve and let set for half an hour

  5. heat crepe pan

  6. pour in batter quickly swirl around and drain excess back into jug

  7. cook one side only till sides curl up slightly

  8. make required filling

  9. add filling and fold up and place on baking tray

  10. repeat for rest

  11. cook at 200c for 20-30mins until golden and puffy

  12. make sauce if required

  13. remove from oven and sieve cinnamon and cing sugar over them.
