Recipe Ingredients for Blackthorne's Yorkshire Pudding

1/2 cup egg beaters
1 cup light soy milk, plain
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
1 cup beef broth

Recipe Directions for Blackthorne's Yorkshire Pudding

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.

  2. Beat together soy milk, salt, flour, and egg beaters.

  3. Arrange custard cups in shallow, flat pan large enough to accommodate the custard cups.

  4. Place 1/8 cup of beef broth in 8 custard cups each.

  5. Evenly distribute batter into each custard cup.

  6. Boil water, then add enough to fill the pan where the water line will directly correspond to the contents in the custard cups. Be careful not to splash any water into the filled custard cups.

  7. Place into oven and bake for 30 minutes at 400F or until golden and puffy.

  8. Traditionally served with roast beef and gravy.
