Lebanese Baked Kibbi. This is not very dietetic.

Recipe Ingredients for Blackthorne's Baked Kibbi

1/2 pound ground lamb, fat removed
1 pound ground beef, 95/5
1 cup bulgur wheat
1 cup water, boiling
1 cup pine nuts
1 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup olive oil, virgin
2 teaspoons allspice, ground
2 teaspoons cinnamon, ground
2 teaspoons sea salt
1 pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Blackthorne's Baked Kibbi

  1. Get out a big bowl.

  2. Finely chop onions and place in big bowl.

  3. Add lamb, beef, olive oil, pine nuts, cinnamon, salt, pepper, bulgur wheat and allspice to onions.

  4. Press mixture into flat pan.

  5. Bake at 350 until kibbi pulls away from the edges of the pan and clear juices are running. You may want to take a knife and test the center.

  6. Serve the kibbi.
