Recipe Ingredients for Blackened Tilapia

4 oz tilapia
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano
2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Blackened Tilapia

  1. Mix spices together in jar.

  2. Press into fish.

  3. Heat oil in pan until really hot (almost smoking).

  4. Fry fish in pan until opaque and flakes easily (approx 3 minutes/side).

  5. serve.
