A fruity sauce for pancakes, French toast, toast, or yogurt, or anything else. Real comfort food. Delicious!

Recipe Ingredients for Blackberry Sauce

3 oz Apple Juice Frozen Concentrate
0.2 cup Sugars, Granulated
6 cup, unthawed Blackberries
2.5 tbsp Cornstarch
4 oz Water

Recipe Directions for Blackberry Sauce

Mix together in medium saucepan 3 cups frozen blackberries, 1/2 cup water, four tablespoons apple juice concentrate, and 3 tablespoons sugar. Bring to a full boil. When mixture is clear and thick, stir in 3 more cups frozen whole blackberries and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Remove from heat and let stand a few minutes until mixture is partially cool and all blackberries are melted. Ready to serve. Store in refrigerator up to two weeks, if you can keep from eating it. Can be served over vanilla ice cream as a dessert.
