Really good, high veggie stir-fry. Could put over noodles or eat plain. I left out the cornstarch on accident and it was still really good.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Sesame Tofu & Vegetable Sitr-Fry

0.5 cup Success Jasmine Rice
1.5 tbsp Toasted Black Sesame Seeds
0.5 tbsp(14 g) Toasted Sesame Oil
2 tbsp Roasted Peanut Oil
5 spears Asparagus
14 oz Tofu
10 carrots Organics Baby Cut Carrots
0.85 medium raw Bell Pepper Red
4 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
3 fl oz Orange Juice Original
3 tsp Organic Mellow Red Miso Soybean Paste

Recipe Directions for Black Sesame Tofu & Vegetable Sitr-Fry

  1. Prepare rice as box instructs. Blot tofu for excess water and cut crosswise into 8 slices. Put tofu in small bowl and dredge in sesame seeds.

  2. Heat sesame oil and 1 Tablespoon of peanut oil in a large skillet (or Wok) over medium-high heat. Add tofu and cook for 4-5 minutes or until nicely brown. Flip over and continue cooking 4-5 minutes or until nicely browned. Remove tofu to serving dish.

  3. Add remaining peanut oil and heat. Stir in asparagus and shredded carrots; stir-fry for 4 minutes or until crunchy-tender. Stir in bell pepper and onion; cook for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low and return tofu to pan.

  4. Combine orange juice, miso, soy sauce, and cornstarch in a small bowl; whisk until well blended. Pour mixture into wok and cook for 1 minute; stirring to cover vegetables and tofu.

  5. Serve over rice.
